Patricia JoAnn "Patty Jo" (Osborne) Olsen, 72, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2013 surrounded by family.  She was a loving and devoted mother who will be deeply missed.  Patty Jo was born in Duluth, MN on March 21, 1941 to Russell and Darelyn Osborne.  She owned and operated Interior Concepts and Dreamland Ballroom.  Patty Jo loved to spend time with family and friends and enjoyed animals, gardening and music.  She had a smile that could light up a room.   Patty Jo was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Richard Osborne.  She is survived by her children Kim (Lee) Gagnon, Teri (Paul) Michalski, Bob (Shelly) Fagan, Toni Schliesman and Tracey (Jamie) Bodin; brother Russell (Sue) Osborne; grandchildren Cory, Joshua, Danielle, Dane, Dylan, Kevin, Jason, Ella, Nicole and Justin; great grandchild Nate; niece Stacie; nephews Rick, Russ, Ron and Chris. A gathering of her family and friends will be held on November 9, 2013 at Sunrise Funeral Home.  Service is at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour before.    Condolences may be left on Sunrise Funeral Home on-line guest book.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or the Animal Humane Society of Douglas County.  The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Arbor Lakes Senior Living and Interim Hospice Care for their support.
