Nicoletta "Nikki" Pavcovich, 88, of Duluth, passed away into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Dec. 24th, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at St. Luke's Hospice. She was born Sept. 26, 1928, in Foggia, Italy. She and her husband, John, immigrated with their 5 children to Duluth, MN in 1956, where they built a life in America. She was an outstanding homemaker, always baking fresh bread and making Italian meals. Her home always smelled of fresh baked bread. She was a loving mother and always welcomed everyone into her home. Later in life she loved to travel, and took many bus trips with her friends, Norma & Betty. Nikki was preceded in death by her husband, John; daughters, Elizabeth and Ann; grandson, Matthew; and 5 siblings. Nikki is survived by her children, Steve (Barbara), Joseph (Mary Celski), Maria (Randy) Lindell, Rosa (Richard) Noffsinger, and Vincent; grandchildren, Jennifer, Tiffany, Patrick, Chad, Michelle, Kevin, Nicolas, Lisa, David, Amanda, Emily, and Eric; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces & nephews. The family would like to thank the special nurses & staff at St. Luke's Hospice for the wonderful care given to Nikki in the last few weeks of her life. VISITATION: 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30th, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 610 99th Avenue West, Duluth, with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m.
