Nancy J. Hoglund, age 71 of Hermantown, passed away on October 7, 2015, surrounded by family after a couragious and inspirational battle with leukemia. She was born on March 20, 1944, to Vern and Dorothy Speidel. She worked many places throughout the Duluth area, most recently for Super One for 15 years and retired on July 31, 2015. Nancy and Eric recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this summer. Nancy was a breast cancer survivor and participated yearly in the Komen's Race for the Cure. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Nancy was a thoughtful, caring, and joyful person. She touched many people's lives and she will be greatly missed.   Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Gene Parks. Nancy is survived by her husband, Eric; daughter, Kim (Matt); son, Brett (Jen); Sister, Rita; Brothers, Jim and Steve (Lynn); Grandchildren, Megan, Bronson, Aaron, Josie and Brock. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Berge officiating.
