Michael "Wolf" William Wentzlaff, 58, of Kelly Lake, MN, passed away in Hermantown on April 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a 6-month battle with colon cancer.

Mike grew up in Hermantown and living life to the fullest, he developed deep friendships with a vast array of people from all walks of life. Through his cancer struggle, Mike placed his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Mike is survived by parents, Pat Wentzlaff and Bill (Beth) Wentzlaff; siblings, Jim (Kim) Wentzlaff, Jane Erickson (Scott Kelley), and Sue Erickson; daughter, Courtney (Alonzo Sr.) McGee; and son, Michael Jr; several grandchildren; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill & Ellen Wentzlaff and Linnard & Betty Ugstad.

A celebration of life service was held in Hibbing on Saturday, March 29th. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 11th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with final celebration of life to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
