Michael Elwin Pero, 57, of Duluth, MN died July 4, 2024, at his home.

Michael was born April 2, 1967 to Mikkel Pero and Eileen Brunette in Duluth. He graduated from Denfeld and, following high school, completed a baking program at Northland Technical College.

Michael loved the outdoors and animals. He spent many hours watching wildlife that would visit outside his home. He kept busy doing various projects around the property of his home, but never missed his favorite game shows.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Mikkel; stepmother, Charlene; cousin, Sharrie; and grandparents, Anthony, Avis, Elwin and Myrtle.

Michael is survived by his mother, Eileen (Larry) Brunette; brother, Mark (Tanya) Pero; nephew, Archie; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

A private family burial will be on Thursday, July 18th at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials to Animal Allies in Michael's name.
