Mary Emily Johnson, 102, of Fredenberg, MN, passed away on January 3, 2024 at Viewcrest Health Center.

Mary was born in Seattle, WA to Stallard and Verda Ferrill on September 6, 1921. She went to Franklin High School and graduated in 1938. She went on to earn a secretarial degree from Edison Technical College. Mary worked as a secretary for many companies, including a lumber exporter in Seattle. She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, but most of all, time with her family. She was involved in her churches, Dunlap Baptist and Fredenberg Chapel.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Johnson; son, Timothy Johnson; brothers, Donnie, Cecil and Paul; and sister, Virginia.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Julee (Laif) Johnson; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many much loved nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Viewcrest Health Center and Moments Hospice.

A Celebration of Mary's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 13th at Anchor Point Church – Fredenberg, 5069 Fish Lake Rd. Burial at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mary is now rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and with many family members.
