Mary Ann Emma Springsteele, 88, of Duluth, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Edgewood Vista Assisted Living. Mary Ann was born in Duluth to Henry and Louise (Ohlestad) Larkin on July 19, 1930. She went to Central High School and graduated in 1948. She was a stay-at-home wife and mother, raising three children with her husband, James T. Springsteele. She enjoyed camping and travelling. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents; brother, Henry; and sister, Phyllis. Mary Ann is survived by her son, James A. (Karen) Springsteele; daughters, Debra (Dale) Lofald and Bonnie (David) Lawrence; 10 grandchildren, Jody (Jonathan), Daniel (Toni), Kenneth (Becky), Adam, Jacob (Lindsay), Jason (Chrystal), Jessica (Kyle), Adam (Theresa), Angie (John) and Lindsey (Will); and 19 great-grandchildren, Emma, Alden, Brock, Nicole, Megan, William, James, Jayden, Boe, Delanie, Grace, Ryleigh, Faith, Bayleigh, Oliver, Brady, Avery, Izaiah and Neo. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Edgewood Vista for the love and care shown to Mary Ann. VISITAITON: 1 pm on Tuesday, November 20th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with memorial service to follow at 2 pm. Entombment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
