Marsha Helen Berg, 76, of Duluth (Pike Lake), passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at BeeHive Homes of Duluth. Marsha was born in Duluth to Helen and Gideon Cavallin on December 21, 1942. She graduated from East High School in 1961 and worked at Wahl's department store prior to retiring from ARDC (Arrowhead Regional Development Commission) in 2000. She enjoyed shopping and lunches with her many friends and cousins, and morning phone conversations. Marsha was very outgoing and had a way to find out all about the lives of the clerks, servers, and people she met. Marsha enjoyed her lake home and most of all she loved her granddaughters, Ellie and Emma. Marsha was preceded in death by the parents; and first husband, Paul Contos. Marsha is survived by her husband, David R. Berg; stepson, Darrin (Leah) Berg; stepdaughters, Sandra (Tom) Henderson, Nancy (Jeff) Kalla; and granddaughters, Ellie and Emma Berg. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Minister William Ness (Pastor Bill), St. Luke's Hospital, and BeeHive Homes for their thoughtful care of Marsha. As a memorial to Marsha, give kindness to someone or your favorite charity. VISITATION: 1 pm on Tuesday, September 17th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with memorial service to follow at 2 pm.
