Marlene Lois Didrikson age 86, of Duluth passed away Thursday May 30, 2019 with her son and daughter by her side at Aftenro Home. She was born on April 18, 1933 to Frank and Gladys Hedberg. Marlene grew up in Duluth. She was united in marriage to Robert Didrikson on June 24, 1950. Robert and Marlene retired to Duluth after 30 years of service in the USMC. She enjoyed traveling the world, her family, traveling with friends, reading, playing bingo, crafts and volunteering. Marlene is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son William, daughter Brenda Wallace and grand-daughter Tracy Smith. She is survived by her daughter Bonnie (Chuck) Potter of Rochester, MN son Bud(Barb) Didrikson of Duluth, MN and 10 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, 5 great-great- grandchildren. Memorial Service Friday June 7, 2019 at 2 PM at Sunrise Funeral Home and Cemetery. 4798 Miller Trunk Highway, Hermantown MN.
