Marion E. Wicklund, 78, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Chris Jensen. She was born in Mpls., MN on June 22, 1939, the daughter of Frederick "Gus" and Helga (Johnson) Storest. Marion worked for St. Louis County as a Home Health Aid until her retirement in 2007. She loved going to the casinos, rummage sales, and gardening. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, spoiling her grandchildren, and was always there to help anyone in need. Marion was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Wicklund; brother, Frederick Storest; sister, Lorraine Mehr; stepson, Fred Wicklund. Marion is survived by her son, Mike Morse; daughters, Bernice (Alex) Abel, Debra Morse; Stepson, Barry (Marissa) Wicklund; stepdaughters, Peggy (Dewey) VanValkenburg, Corky (Joe) Hizinski, Kim Moore; grandchildren, Luke (Jennifer) Abel, Kyle (Meagan) Abel, Carmen (Cody) Abel, Chris (Natalie) Becker; sister, Marilee Storest; many nieces and nephews. Per Marion's wishes there will be no funeral. A private family memorial service will be held for Marion. Memorial donations may be made to Sunrise Funeral Home.
