Marilyn Jean Priolo, aged 84, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026.

Born on October 27, 1941, Marilyn lived a life rooted deeply in her unwavering faith, her love for her family and friends and her passion for baseball.

A lifelong Duluth resident, she graduated from Central High School in 1960. Before marrying and starting her family, she worked as a dedicated bank secretary at Northern City Bank. She committed her later years to raising her children and building a home. She was known by many for her incredible talent for making cakes, bringing sweetness and joy to countless family celebrations and milestones.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Roger; children, Mark (Wendy) Priolo and Heather (Tom) Lodermeier; sister, Barbara (Raymond) Johnson; nephew, Robert Johnson; cherished grandchildren, Zackary, Alexis, Hunter, Levi, and Summer; precious great-granddaughter, Olive; and many cousins and dedicated friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Floranne Miller.

Marilyn’s warmth, strength, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of her life and faith is scheduled for Monday, Sept 7th, 2026, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1505 Eklund Ave, Duluth, MN 55811. Visitation begins at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.

Marilyn's memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. An enthusiastic sports fan, she spent countless seasons cheering for the Minnesota Twins, finding joy in every inning. Her family takes immense comfort in knowing that she has now returned home to her Creator and is cheering them on from the best seat in the house.
