Marilyn Delores Peterson, 82, of Duluth, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018, in her home. Marilyn was born in Duluth on September 19, 1935, to Joe and Theresa Morud. She graduated from Proctor High School in 1953, and worked as the credit manager at Upper Lakes Foods for 30 years. Marilyn was a lifetime member of the Duluth Kennel Club, as well as a member of the Irish and English Setter Clubs of Minnesota. Her setters held a special place in her heart. Marilyn is survived by her children, Jim (Bridget) Peterson, Karen (Jim) Shykes, and Diana (Jeff) Hendrickson; and grandchildren, Mason, Reese, Lindsey, Sarah, and Kevin. VISITATION: 3pm on Friday, May 18th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with a memorial service to follow at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Animal Allies of Duluth, 4006 Airport Rd, Duluth, MN 55811 in Marilyn's memory.
