Marian "Mary" Helen Kwiatkowski, 68, of Hermantown, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018, in Duluth. Mary was born in Hibbing, Minnesota to Andrew and Esther Jarvi on March 29, 1950. After graduating from the Cotton School, she attended Duluth Business University. Those skills led to Mary becoming the Office Manager at Engwall Florist & Gift. Health issues led to her retirement in July of 2007. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and her special grandmother, Martha Maki, who raised her through her teens. Mary is survived by her husband of 50 years, Chester Kwiatkowski; sons, Timothy (Kimberly) of Glenwood Springs, CO, and Jon of Proctor, MN; grandchildren, Connor, Hailey, Quinn, Bodi, Jason, Emily and Allison; and her special companion, Shadoe. VISITATION: 10am on Friday, August 10th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with memorial service to follow at 11am.
