Margaret Esther Colberg, 98, passed away on January 27, 2024 at Viewcrest Health Center.

Margaret was born in Munger, Minnesota, to Joseph and Tillie Super on August 6, 1925. She went to Proctor High School and graduated in 1943. She worked as a Home Health Aide for Carlton County for over 20 years. Margaret was a 4-H leader for 25 years in Esko, and was an active member of the formerly named Esko Farmers Club for many years. She was also a member of St Matthews Lutheran Church in Esko for 60+ years.

Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 70 years, Lyle A. Colberg; son, Alan R. Colberg; brother, Theodore Super; sister, Elsie Gulbranson; and daughter-in-law, Rebecca (Nelson) Colberg.

Surviving Margaret are her daughter, Loretta K. (Robert) Ferree; son, Gregory Colberg; grandchildren, Angela (Scott) Blevins, Anita (David) Ellis, Alisa (Scott) Church, Almia Jo (Brett) Heald, Krysta Colberg, Kari Colberg, and Justin (Kristen) Colberg; great-grandchildren, Dominick Durante, Reese Heald, Lauren Heald, Blake Heald, Dylan Heald, Alexi Blevins, Jackson Blevins, Derek Ellis, Josh Ellis, Haylen Ferree Church, Austin Colberg, and Clare Colberg; several great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jackie Colberg; and nieces, Geraldine Gulbranson and Sharon Johnson.

Funeral service to be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, February 4th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy.
