Lynn Louise (Schminski) Koski, 76, of Duluth, passed away on February 8, 2025 at Solvay Hospice House. She was born in Duluth, MN on August 21, 1948 to Clarence and Ruth (Vetterick) Schminski, the eldest of 4 children.

Lynn grew up in Floodwood and Forbes, MN and graduated from Cherry High School in 1966. She resided in the Pike Lake area since 1975. She worked as a HUC at St. Mary's Medical Center Oncology floor for many years, retiring in 2020, and owned the Proctor Dairy Queen for nearly twenty years.

One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother to her three grandsons, and she was very involved in their activities and successes. She also enjoyed baking special treats for loved ones, cheering for Minnesota sports teams, feeding and watching the birds, and playing card games with family and friends.

Lynn will be remembered for her tremendous love of her family, her positive, energetic spirit, and her ability to make everyone around her feel special.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; and her former husband, Creighton.

Lynn is survived by her sons, Matthew (Angie) and Michael (Erica); grandsons Blake, Trevor, and Nolan; step-grandchildren, Abby and Jack Fitzgerald; sisters, Lou Ann Schminski and Lori Schminski; brother, Larry (Ann) Schminski; nieces, Nikki (Aaron) Mason and Shawna Anderson; nephews, Sam, Noah, and Cole Schminski; close friend, John Hexum; and extended family members and friends.

Family would like to extend a special thank you to Lynn's home caregivers Auntie Lou, Auntie Lori, Angie and Erica.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at Grace Lutheran Church, 5454 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, MN. A visitation will be held at 11:00 AM followed by a service at 12:00 PM.
