Louise A. Fails, 83, of Duluth, passed away on Sunday December 1, 2013. She was born on November 2, 1930 in Malvern, AR and had lived most of her life in Duluth. Louise retired from St. Mary's Hospital as a Dietician after 24 years of service. She enjoyed time spent with her family, attending her children's sporting events, and playing bingo. Louise was preceded in death by her parents Mint and Flower Craig, children Charles Kelly, Rose Brown, Veverly Scurry, Roger Kelly, and Deborah Kelly, and a brother Samuel McCurley. Louise is survived by her children Glen (Diana) Kelly of Flint, MI, Shirley Vega of Glenview, IL, Clifton (Sue) Kelly of Rhode Island, Clifford Kelly of Atlanta, GA, Margaret Kelly of Minneapolis, MN, Micheal (Hope) Fails of Esko, MN and Pat (Jill) Fails of Owatonna, MN, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Mildred Thomas, Rose Hope, and Betty Joe Craig, brothers Zach and Lawrence Craig, and foster children Diane Gill and Timothy Norton.
