Lon-Lee Cliffordson Lindquist, 29, of Cloquet, died Tuesday July 9, 2013 from injuries resulting from an automobile accident. He was born in Opelousas, LA on October 6, 1983 to Clifford Linquist and Rachael Zion "Beth Lindquist". Lon had worked as a Care Giver for Northland A.F.C.. He was a member of the 148th Fighter Wing, Air National Guard. Lon enjoyed shooting pool, playing X-Box, and paintball. His proudest accomplishment was his Air-Guard duty, the Air Guard was his first duty. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Howard and Nancy Joyce Linquist, Mother Rachael Zion "Beth Lindquist", aunt Cheryl Coate, and maternal grandparents Cynthia and Eugene Fox, and Benton Duckett, Sr.. He was survived by his father Clifford Lindquist, fiancée Amanda Bruner-Carroll, siblings Celestial-Dawn (Dan) Arnold, Crystal-Dawn (Carl Keitz) Jensen, Lance Geoffery Cliffordson-Linquist, Eryn McMillian and Daneil Kacer, many nieces and nephews, and his dog Princess Phoebe Wigglebutt. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 17, 2013 from 5-7PM in Sunrise Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Thursday July 18, 2013 from Noon until the 1PM Funeral Service in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Park. Military Honors will be Accorded by the Grand Forks Air Force Base Honor Guard with firing by the Duluth Combined Honor Guard.
