Obituary
Lillian Irene Chesley, 81, of Duluth, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Heritage Haven.
Lillian was born in North Dakota to Leonard & Barbara VanReese on March 10, 1936.
She married Robert Chesley in 1952, and they raised a family in Duluth. She worked as an office manager for Chesley & Sons. She liked to knit and croquet and enjoyed gardening.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; sisters, Ila Mae Gruber, Dorothy Carignan, and Carol Johnson; and brother, Michael VanReese.
Lillian is survived by her children, Kathryn Nelson, Robert (Beth) Chesley, Deb Kivi, and Daniel (Sandy) Chesley; grandchildren, Kimberley (Justin) Miller, Melissa (Rich) Chesley-Hennes, Gregory Chesley, Derek (Jeana) Shykes, Richard (Katie) Kivi, Troy Kivi, Lillian Kivi, and LeAhnna Chesley; 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Arie (Kris) VanReese, Barbara (Roger) O'jala, and Donna (Roger) Running.
VISITATION: 1pm Thursday, January 4th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with a funeral service to follow at 2pm.
