Lawrence "Larry" Edward Luiten, 59, of Duluth, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 2, 2018, at Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospital. Larry was a driver for Swift Trucking for many years. He previously was a member of the Army National Guard. He loved spending time with his many nieces and nephews and holding them every chance he had. He was a fan of all Minnesota sports. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Cecelia (Loons) Luiten; and brother, Mark Luiten. Larry is survived by his siblings, Linda Luiten, Karen (Jeff) Herindeen, Jerry Luiten, Elaine Engen, Gloria (Steve) Koutsoyan, Brenda (Duane) Nelson, and Carol (Scott) Thul; and many nieces and nephews. Private family services to be held. Services in care of Sunrise Funeral Home. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park with his parents and brother.
