Laura K. Davis of Hermantown, age 100, passed away peacefully in her home April 22, 2019. She was born April 19, 1919 in Duluth, Minnesota to Alex and Sanna Maki. Laura was a dedicated wife and mother first and foremost. She treasured her 13 children and embraced every moment with them. During tough times Laura portrayed "Finnish Sisu" with courage and endurance. She had a passionate love for her animals and nature. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clifford, son Robert and 2 grandchildren. She is survived by 12 children, 29 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans. Private Service will be held. Arrangements by Sunrise Funeral Home and Cemetery.
