Kermit E. Larson, 85 of Duluth, passed away on Tuesday December 30, 2014. Surrounded by family. He married his child bride Elizabeth (Betty) Rich on January 14, 1950. Together they had three children. Kermit was in the 148th fighter group for 36 years retiring in 1986. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, Driftwood Estates, cribbage, and casino playing. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Larson, parents, sister Edith Caldwell, brothers Ben & Lloyd Larson, grandsons David & Scott Miner. He is survived by his children Charlotte (Mike) Willis, Steve (Annette) Larson and Kim (Bob Mattila) Miner, grandchildren Stephanie (Dan) Teigen, John (Jayme) Willis, Todd (Angie) Larson, Krista (Steven) Duncan, Kelly (Eric) Carlson, Patricia (Erik) Miner-Lokken, and Luke (Trista) Miner, fifteen great grandchildren and his four legged companion Tilly. The family would like to thank the staff and Doctors of St. Lukes Hospital and Mount Royal Medical center for all their care over the years.
