Kathleen "Kathy" Polzin, 62, of Duluth passed away on Sunday, July 4 at home. Kathy was born on May 20, 1959 in Germany where her father was stationed while serving in the Air Force. Kathy was the daughter of Edward & Louise (Norberg) Polzin. She graduated from Duluth Central HS in 1978.

Kathy spent her working career as a nurses aid working at area nursing homes and caring for elderly patients, which she enjoyed and was very good at. Kathy was an avid Vikings and Twins fan.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister Linda Talbot, brothers James and Michael (Joddy) Polzin, and several cousins, nieces and nephews who will sincerely miss her gentle nature.

A private graveside service and interment will be held at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery in Hermantown, MN at a later date.
