Karen Lynne Rudnitski (Swanson), 81, of Hermantown, MN, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Essentia Health St Mary's Medical Center from natural causes. She was born on February 16, 1945 to Einar and Lillian Swanson.

Karen was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kassidy Rosenberger; brothers, John and Myles; sisters, Dale Ann, Patsy and Carla; and brother-in-law, Art Pikkarainen.

Karen is survived by her husband, Roger Lindgren; children, Kamille (Brian) Rosenberger and Jerrod (Judy) Rudnitski; grandchildren, Kailee Rosenberger, Samantha Rudnitski, Carter Rudnitski, and Calvin Rudnitski; brothers, Charlie (Peggy) Swanson and Denny (Diane) Swanson; sisters, Susie Pikkarainen and Janey (Mark) Krapfl; brothers-in-law, Delano Kolenda, Mike Snyder, and William Imbiorski; along with nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation to be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 4th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, with funeral at 12:00 PM and reception to follow. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
