June Marguerite Proulx Johnson, 94 of Richfield, Minnesota, passed away on December 5, 2021.

June was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 27, 1927. June grew up in North Minneapolis went to high school at North High School, graduating in 1945. She went on to work in a bank downtown and then married and raised a family. She then worked as a secretary for Kraskin Baton Company in Richfield for many years. June enjoyed knitting, crocheting, spending time at their cabin, and caring for her grandchildren

June was preceded in death by her parents, John and Millie Proulx; husband, Darrel L. Johnson; daughter, Carol Lee Munson; sisters, Mitzi (Larry ) Scully; Sandy Proulx; and brother, John (Bub) Proulx.

June is survived by her daughter, Judy (Gordy) Atol; grandchildren, Matthew Munson, Scott Munson, Joe , Jim, Abby and Willy Atol; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Denny) Maetzold; many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Matthew Munson's house, 18975 Iden Way, Lakeville, MN on June 18, 2022 starting at 1:00 PM.
