Julie A. Hillman, 71, of Duluth, died Friday, July 19, 2013 in Essentia Health, St. Mary's Hospital.  She was born in Duluth to Russell and Idun Mehrman on November 7, 1941.  Julie graduated from Duluth Central High School and earned her LPN Degree in Duluth.  She was known by her many friends for her kindness, caring and giving; she will always be cherished. Julie was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Hillman in 2007, and her parents. Julie is survived by her son Daryl (Julie) Hillman of Summerville, SC, sister Kathleen (George) Kelly of Gainesville, FL, brother Russell (Judy) Mehrman of Pawley's Island, SC, grandsons Max, Jacob, and Philip Hillman, nieces Jodie Levey, and Lisa Hillborn, and her nephew Aaron Mehrman.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1PM until the 2PM Memorial Service in Sunrise Funeral Home.  Arrangements by Sunrise Funeral Home.  To leave an online condolence see www.sunrisefuneralhomeandcemetery.com.
