Judy Kay Sundstrom, age 70, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, following complications from a seizure. Born on May 23, 1955, Judy was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt whose kindness and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.

Judy is survived by her brother, Jim Sundstrom (Pat); her sister, Linda Aune (Greg); her sister-in-law, Nancy Sundstrom; her special friend, Dennis Amiot; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Miriam Sundstrom; her brother, David Sundstrom; her sister, Betty Sundstrom; and her treasured cat, Ginger, who brought her so much comfort and companionship.

Judy had a naturally caring heart and spent much of her life helping others. She worked for many years as a CNA at Chris Jensen Nursing Home, where her compassion and dedication made a lasting impact, and later worked at Goodwill. She found great joy in simple pleasures—especially summers at the family cabin, surrounded by laughter, stories, and time with those she loved most.

Judy will be remembered for her warm smile, her easy laughter, and the quiet kindness she shared so freely. She had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for, and her presence brought light into the lives of those around her. She was a cherished part of our family and will be deeply missed, forever held close in our hearts.

A burial service will be held on May 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery.
