On the morning of February 5, 2024 heaven gained another Angel when Judith Ann Walters, 79, passed away at Hilltop Healthcare with her loving cousin Lynette by her side. Judy was born June 3, 1944, the only child of William and Lillian Erickson. She had a happy childhood growing up in Homecroft, MN and made Two Harbors her home for the majority of her life.

After graduating from Central High School she attended a Business college and worked at various positions. She worked at Irresistible Ink, Inc in Two Harbors from 1998 until it closed in 2007. She also worked briefly at the Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast in Two Harbors.

Judy was a talented artist and piano player, giving lessons to local children. Judy loved having parties on her favorite holidays, the 4th of July and Halloween.

Judy was a caring fun-loving daughter, mother, and friend. She loved to travel and dreamed of traveling after retiring but unfortunately a stroke ruined those plans.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter-in-law, Amy.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Stephanie; son, Billy; 3 grandchildren; special cousins; special devoted cousin, Lynette; dear friends, Anne and Maria; and many other dear friends.

Memorial service to be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 29th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with reception to follow. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
