It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mom Joyce. Mom lived and loved life to the fullest and brought joy to all those she knew. She lit up the room with her infectious smile and her zest for life was endless. She will be missed deeply by all of us!

Joyce Mae (McLeod) Nylen, 73, of Lake Nebagamon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 peacefully at home.

Joyce was born in Duluth, MN to James and Ethel (Berg) McLeod on July, 3 1947. She went to high school Duluth Denfeld in 1966.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nylen; and parents.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Tammi Anderson and Christine (Joseph) Dougherty; son, David (Nicole) Nylen; 10 grandkids; sisters, Sue Willis and Jean (Dan) Johnson; brother, James (Cindy) McLeod; sister-in-law, Nancy Nylen; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of her friends in Lake Nebagamon who loved her just as much as we did, and a special thank you to Ina for helping her and taking such good care of her.

Due to the unfortunate events of COVID, a private service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
