Joseph J. Lackner, age 68 of Duluth, passed away on December 18, 2015, while at home surrounded by family. He was born on June 6, 1947 to Joseph and Mary (Premo) Lackner in Duluth. He graduated from Denfeld High School. After high school, he worked at Stretar Masonry and LTV Steel Mining. Joseph was a member of St. Lawrence Church and the O.K. Club (Older Kids).   Joseph is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jean Maki. Joseph is survived by is sons, James, Jeffery and Jeremy (Rachael); 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; girlfriend, Terese Lee; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Lawrence Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. Burial will follow the service at Sunrise Cemetery.
