John Michael Anderson, 76, of Duluth, passed away on November 1, 2023. He was born in Duluth on July 11, 1947 to John and Jeannette Anderson. He grew up in Proctor and graduated from Proctor High School in 1965. He worked as a Brakeman/Conductor for the DM&IR Railroad.

John was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jerry Anderson.

John is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lana; daughter, Jodi (David) LaFontaine; grandsons, Adam (Chelsea) LaFontaine and James LaFontaine; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Landon, and Mallorie LaFontaine; siblings, Judy (Butch) Stauty, Joey (Charlotte) Anderson, and Jill (Jim) Bonkowske; and many nieces and nephews.

Per John's request, there will be no services held. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
