Jerry was passionate about mechanics and music. Jerome "Jerry" Albert Havron, 93, died peacefully while surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Hermantown Valley Elder Care. Jerry was born on February 1, 1924, in Duluth. Jerry served in Merchant Marines, Army, and Navy. He enjoyed a musical life, playing guitar and base with many friends, relatives, children, and several bands. He enjoyed working on cars well into his late 80's. He was loved and adored by many. Jerry was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Malainya; great-grandson, Hayden; the mother of his children, Delores; second wife, Jan; son-in-law, Tony Delzotto; parents, Bill and Leontine; sister, Blanche; and brothers, Bill, Dave, Danny, and Tommy. Jerry is survived by his children, John, Roy, Nancy Delzotto, Jerry (Deb), and George (Gerilynn); 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marion and Beulah; and brother, Alen. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 4pm on Friday, June 30th at Mr. D's Bar & Grill, 5622 Grand Ave, Duluth. Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, July 5th at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Tim and Bobbie for their wonderful care and compassion. Jerry will be greatly missed.
