Jerold Charles Lundgren Sr, 77, of Duluth, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Essentia Hospital. Jerold was born on June 10, 1942 in Duluth to Russell Lundgren and Helen (Andelin) Lappi. He was a Navy Veteran who served his country from 1960 until 1964 when he was medically discharged. Jerold co-owned a CB Shop in Hermantown with his brother and worked for Purolator Courier for several years. He worked as a Constable in Canosia Twsp from 1978 until 1998 when he retired. Jerold enjoyed hunting, fishing and gambling. He liked collecting stamps, baseball cards, going for car rides and taking pictures. Jerold is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Helen; brother, James; and wife, Julia (Thompson) Lundgren. Jerold is survived by his children, Jerry (Brenda) Lundgren, Joyce (Michael) Johnson, and Jay (Jessica) Lundgren; grandchildren, Erika, Amanda, Dustin, Sam, Coltin, Logan, Katie, Zach, Mackenzie, Kyle, Adria, Alex, Gracie and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Auna, Audrey and Leland; former daughter-in-law, Stacey Stralka; brother,Jack Lundgren; sister, Jeanette (Paul) Ierino; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Celebration of Life will be held from 11am - 3pm on Sunday, September 20th at Skyline Social & Games Lodge, 4894 Miller Trunk Hwy.
