Janice I. Ratajek, age 67, of Duluth, died on August 2, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born on May 23, 1948 to Walter and Martha Johnson. Janice was proud of her 40 years of sobriety as of March 2015.   Janice is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard and Randolph "Randy" Johnson; and grandson, Patrick Strumbell. Janice is survived by three children, Laura Strumbell, John Eider, and Lisa (Thomas) Morinville; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Carolyn I. Johnson and Grace (Bruce) Wells; brother, "Bill" William  (Nancy) A. Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Sunrise Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Sunrise Cemetery.
