Janet went home to her loving Savior after a 7 month struggle with ALS on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. She graduated from Central High School in 1954. She graduated from secretarial school and worked as a secretary for a short time before marrying Lawrence Medalen on Sept. 8, 1956. She raised two daughters. She served the Lord teaching Sunday School, VBS, Child Evangelism and Bible Studies with her Church Circle. She was a faithful prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Reamer; mother, Catherine Reamer; sister, Karyn Finch; and brother, Bruce Reamer. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Larry; daughters, Sally (Charley) Brown, and Sandi (Dennis) Berryhill; grandchildren, Jenny (Mark) Johnson, Dan Berryhill, and David Brown; great-granddaughters, Angela, Zoey, Lydia, Caelyn, and Felicity; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. VISITATION: 12 pm on Saturday, June 3rd at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, with a funeral service to follow at 1 pm.
