Janet Mae (Peffer) Anderson, 87, of  Hermantown, died February 24, 2022. She was born on June 16,1934 in Detroit Lakes MN to Peter and Della Peffer. She moved to Hermantown at the age of 12. She worked at Wahl's department store as a clerk and clothes model. She married the love of her life Jerry Anderson on January 5, 1957 and was married for 62 years until his death in August of 2019.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry, sister Jean Marotz, and brother Bernard Peffer.

She is survived by Son Jerry Jr (Paula  Kalligher) of Duluth, Daughter Shari (Tim) Hubert of  Hermantown,Grandchildren Kristin Garthus, Ian Anderson, Trista Hubert, Dusty Hubert, Great Grandchildren Haley, Aria, Kingston, Lexi, Kendra, Kian,  Brother - in - Laws Don (Sandy) Anderson of Cloquet, Terry (Barb) Anderson of  Minnetonka, Sister Joyce Stokes of Champlin MN, and numerous nieces and nephews Profound thanks to the staff on the Elm Unit at Chris Jensen for her care and especially to Churell. Also, from St. Lukes Hospice, Tina.
