Janet Mary Lindahl, 80, of Hermantown passed away May 1, 2019 at Chris Jensen nursing home with her son by her side. Janet was born on December 23rd, 1938 to Bill and Pearl Benson. Janet graduated from Drummond High School and St. Lukes School of nursing. She was an RN for many years in the O.B. department at St. Lukes. Janet enjoyed many passions in life, including sewing, canoeing, being active in the church, singing with choral groups, playing various musical instruments, and her love of family and friends. Janet is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Pearl and Brother Wayne. She is survived by her son Gary (Andrea) Erickson, Brother Bill (Marilynn) Benson, grandson Alrik, sister in law Diane Benson, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation 1pm Friday, May 10th at Sunrise funeral Home,4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with a Celebration of life at 2pm. Family wishes to extend their gratitude to Chris Jensen Nursing Home and St Lukes Hospice care for their outstanding compassion and care.
