James Ronald Smith, 85, of Carlton, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017, at Inter-Faith Care Center. He was born in Scanlon, to Harvey & Inez on December, 15, 1931. Jim worked at Northwest Paper for 41 years. He married Donna White in 1956; they would have celebrated 62 years of marriage in April. Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl. Jim is survived by his wife, Donna; son, Dale (Roxann) from Fort Bridger, WY; grandchildren, Russell (Pam) Mattson and Tiffany (Dustin) Smith; and great-grandchildren, Emma and JR. Per Jim's request, no services are to be held.
