James B. Guss, 84, of Duluth, died Wednesday May 22, 2013 in Essentia St. Mary's Hospital.  He was born in Duluth on April 23, 1929 to Clifford and Elma Guss.  He had graduated from Lincoln High School in Esko.  Jim was an Army Veteran.  He had worked as a Boilermaker for the Boilermakers Lodge.  Jim was a handy man, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Vi, and a step-granddaughter Rachelle. He is survived by his wife Anna, son Clifford (Tara) Guss of Phoenix, AZ, step-sons Richard Peterson of Blackhawk, CO, and Ronald (Kerrie Ann) Peterson of Folsom, CA, grandchildren Clifford and Kaley Guss, Raymond, Ryan, and Rick Peterson, an aunt Tilly, and several nieces and nephews.
