James C. Farr (Doc), 100 of Duluth passed away peacefully April 21, 2019 in his home surrounded by his family's love. Doc was a devoted husband, father of four, grandfather of six and great grandfather of four. His positive attitude and loving spirit endeared him to family and friends. He was a gentleman and a gentle man. He was born in Minneapolis, MN, attended the University of MN, served in the army for 4 years during WWII, married his wife Sally and raised their family together. Doc is survived by his four children and their families. Private family services were held. Arrangements with Sunrise Funeral Home, Hermantown.
