Helen L. Gould, age 81, of Duluth, passed away on December 2, 2015 surrounded by family at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born on July 3, 1934 in Pennsylvania to Chauncey and Sadie Decker. After high school, she went into the convent and later went to nursing school. She worked at Nopeming Nursing Home for many years. Helen was always involved with her children through Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, 4H and church activities. Later in life, she was involved with her grandchildren and volunteered in the community. She was greatly loved by her family and friends and touched many people's lives.   Helen is preceded in death by her parents; step parents, Larry and Eidth Koch, husband, Frederick; and brother, Paul Waterloo. Helen is survived by three children, Lisa Gould, Laurie (Brad) Graber, Mark Gould; grandchildren, Cameo Torok, Nikki (TJ) Halbert, Sean Chard, Greg Gould, and Chloe Gould; two great grandchildren; sister, Loretta Litteral; brother, Bill (Helen) Waterloo; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 6:00 PM at Sunrise Funeral Home with Father Pettrich officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
