Gregory Cahoon, 58, passed away in his home on Wednesday, January 4th, 2017. He was born on July 9th, 1958 to James and Ida Belle Bolden in Manhattan, NY.      As a child Greg and his family lived in a few different states which included Massachusetts, Minnesota, and Utah. As an adult he resided in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The last years of his life were spent in Utah and then Minnesota. Greg was a hard labor worker, and often worked more than one job at a time. He loved life and he had a big heart. He enjoyed fishing and listening to music. He loved spending time with family and friends. His grandkids meant the world to him, and he cherished the time he was able to spend with them. Greg is proceeded in death by his father, James Bolden.  Greg is survived by his mother, Ida Belle Bolden; children, Denise (Michael) McDowell, Gregory Bolden, Trinada (Robert) Lheureux, Dave Bolden, Angela Cahoon, Jaimee Cahoon, Cyrena (Eric) Sanders-Winkfield, Katrina Cahoon, and Elaine Carlson; 14 grandchildren; siblings, William, Sammy, Alfreda, Judy, Shirley, Mytrice, Paul, Tommy, and Ernie; and a host of other relatives and friends. VISITATION: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10th, at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Highway, Hermantown, with memorial service to follow at 11 a.m.
