Gordon Raymond Hansen, 81, of Fort Ripley, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, June 23, 2019 in his home. He was born on November 16, 1937 to Olaf and Emma Hansen in Duluth. Gordon was preceded in death by his sister Ruth, his brothers, Allen, Kenneth, Harlan, Grant, Lawrence, and Robert. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 52 years, Marilyn; children, Timothy (Molly Jorgensen) Hansen of Savage, MN, Dennis Hansen of Bloomington, and Shelly(Christian) Barajas of Peoria, AZ; grandchildren, Niki, Kayla, Ashley, and Gordon; one great-grandchild, Ezra; sister, Harriet Reno of Hermantown; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Visitation: 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2019 at First United Methodist Church, 230 E Skyline Pkwy, Duluth, with memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be in Sunrise Cemetery in Hermantown.
