Gerald “Jerry” Raymond Schullo, 85, of Hermantown, MN, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, in Proctor, MN.

Jerry was born on October 3, 1940, in Rice Lake, WI, to George and Elayne Schullo. He graduated from Spooner High School with the Class of 1958 and went on to work as a warehouse employee for Gateway/Fleming, where he dedicated 37 years of service before retiring.

Jerry had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time in nature. Many of his favorite memories were made at his family's hunting shack in Wisconsin. He was also a proud member of the Duluth Elks Lodge 133 and valued the friendships he made there over the years.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elayne Schullo; his sister, Jackie; his brother-in-law, Ronnie Hanacek; his son, Mickey; and his great-granddaughter, Evalyn.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 65 years, Cathy; his children, Sue (Dave), Gina (Doug), Lori, and Jeff (Kathy); 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Proctor for the care and kindness they provided to Jerry.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Highway, Hermantown, MN 55811.
