Geneva Sybil Anderson, 93, of Hermantown, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Edgewood Vista Assisted Living.

Geneva was born in Duluth to Harold and Nina Churchill on November 4, 1927. She worked as a Dietary Aide at Miller Dwan and Viewcrest Assisted Living before retiring. Children were her life's joy, and she was daycare for many family members and friends, who then became like family. She also loved to do word searches, visit the casino, and crochet – making afghans for everyone.

Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; granddaughter, Kari Wetterlind; grandsons, Gary Berg Jr and Baby Reitan; and brothers, Stuart and David Churchill.

Geneva is survived by her children, Bonnie Heine, Linda (Donald) Reitan, Leroy Anderson, Sue (Greg) Talus and Rodney (Lynn) Anderson; grandchildren, Eric (Jody) Wetterlind, Paula (Dean) Pliml, Barbara (Michael) Espinoza, Paul Reitan, Chad (Jennifer) Lawrey, Adam (Nicki) Lawrey, Aaron (Elisa) Talus, Keith (Emily) Anderson, Daryl (Holly) Anderson, Joy (Jeff) Anderson, and bonus grandchildren, Jonathan Simmonds, Connor and Simon Erdmann, and Bennett, Matthew and Ellie Nichols; great-grandchildren, Drew Wetterlind, Tori Wetterlind, Tyler (Tessa) Pliml, April (Tom) Ubert, Melanie Pliml, Emily Davis, Haley Davis, Natalie Davis, Emalie Lawrey, Caleb Lawrey, Isaiah Lawrey, Keisha, Angel, Anthony, Cooper Lawrey, Camren Lawrey, Rin Talus, Leo Talus, Logan Anderson, and Mason Anderson; great-great-grandchildren, Roman, Wesley, Beau, Scarlett, and Natasha; sister, Yvonne Lofald; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation to be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 9th at the Hermantown Public Safety Building, 5111 Maple Grove Rd, with Memorial service to follow at 12:00 PM.
