Fred G. Benson, 80, of Duluth died Wednesday October 30, 2013.  He was born in Cloquet, MN on March 12, 1933.  Fred had graduated from Denfeld High School, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran.  He had worked for Minnesota Power until his retirement.  Fred enjoyed bird hunting, camping and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents Gustav and Agnes Benson. He is survived by a brother Roy Benson of Santee, CA, sister Linda (Jack) Larsen of Kansas City, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday Nov. 15 from noon until the 1PM Memorial Service in Sunrise Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Park.   Military Honors will be Accorded by the Duluth Honor Guard.  To leave an online condolence see www.sunrisefuneralhomeandcemetery.com.
