Frank Laurence Reisinger, 85, of Duluth MN passed away on April 4, 2025 with his family by his side.

Frank was born in Los Angeles, CA on October 13, 1939 and moved to Meadowlands, MN with his family as a child. After graduation, Frank joined the military spending the majority of his time in South Korea as a tank mechanic.

On October 13, 1962, Frank married Darlene Juusola in Floodwood, MN and they remained married for 62 plus years while raising 3 children in Duluth, MN.

Frank spent the majority of his career working for Superior Fiber Products (Georgia Pacific). After retirement he took on a variety of part time jobs. Typically delivery positions.

Frank enjoyed working on cars in his younger years, spending time with family, traveling, and driving. Especially in his later years, driving shorter road trips with Darlene was very important to him.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; son, Larry; and brothers-in-law, Tom Patnaude and Aram "Shorty" Khardian.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Darlene; daughters, Linda (Rodney) Barber and Diane Reisinger; grandchildren, Ryan Barber , Nicole (Matt) Barber, and Garth Barber; great-grandson, Dylan; sisters, Margaret Patnaude and Toni Khardian; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In his last days, he talked about how much he missed driving and we asked him if he could drive anywhere now, where would it be. He quickly responded ...Hibbing ...so he and Darlene could take a drive and then stop to get a chocolate ice cream cone. That was something they used to do often.

We love and miss him.

Visitation to be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 10th at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, with Memorial Service at 11:00 AM and reception to follow. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
