Florence Isabel Zentkowski, 88, of Duluth, passed away on Oct. 13, 2022. She was born on July 8, 1934 to William and Christine Williamson in Duluth.

Florence worked as an R.N. for St Luke's for many years, and continued to volunteer there after she retired. She loved her family and especially doted on her grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved supporting them in their recreational activities, and made sure to attend when she could. Florence also loved to garden and grew beautiful flowers and watched the wildlife it drew.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Willie; and in-laws.

Florence is survived by her husband of 66 years, John; daughters, Susan Zentkowski and Mary (Tom) Miller; grandchildren, Chris (Christy) Zentkowski, Adam (Heather) Severson, Emily (Jordan) Boyst, Chad (Tanner James) Miller, Tom (Hillary) Miller and Derek (Sally Ash) Miller; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Zentkowski, Kloe Zentkowski, Kennedy Miller, Britta Miller and Maeva Severson.

The family would like to extend a thank you to St Luke's Hospice and the staff of Diamond Willow Lester Park.

Celebration of Life Gathering to be held from 11:00 to 1:00 on Friday Oct. 21st at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy.
