Faye R. Lent Simowitz , 77,  died Friday, January, 22, 2016. She was born July 27, 1938, in Duluth, Minnesota, to Sam and Ruth Lent.  Faye graduated from Central High School and shortly after met and married Martin Simowitz.  Together they raised three children living in many locations including New York, Japan, Germany, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Texas.  Upon returning back "home" to Duluth after Marty's retirement from the Air Force, Faye was employed by the Duluth Public Schools.  Faye was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Marty; her children, Debi (Rick) Barr, Mark (Tammy) Simowitz, and Brian (Kelly) Simowitz;  her sisters Dorothy (Jim) Kunst, Patti (Dick) Holmes and brother Robert (Carole) Lent;  nine grandchildren, Ben, Chelsea, Cassandra, Rachel, Ryan, Sean, Stephen, Nathan, Ethan and four great grand children, Landon, Nolan, Layne and Gianna.  A GATHERING OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY: Monday, Jan 25, 2016 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at Sunrise Funeral Home 4798 Miller Trunk Highway Hermantown, Minnesota 55811.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to Alzheimer's  in the name of Faye Simowitz.
