Erika was definitely unique! Erika's life ended the way she lived it, in excitement of the time to be spent with family or friends after preparing all day for it, whether it was a special occasion or she was going to make it one. Erika looked for ways to make things special and make you smile.

Erika Elizabeth Csomos, 59, went to eternal paradise on November 8, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on September 1, 1966 in International Falls, MN to Joseph Csomos and Sandra (Csomos) Thompson.

Erika believed in living life to the fullest, no matter where she was. From Las Vegas to Daytona Beach, she put all of her love and energy into the Hospitality industry. Her adventures even took her to the circus, where she learned to ride elephants! She enjoyed shopping for many stylish clothes, sun tanning at the beach, and planning many fun activities for her nieces and nephews and others in her life.

Erika was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Csomos; mother, Sandra (Csomos) Thompson; grandparents, Mihály (Elizabeth) Csomos and A. Kenneth Unger (Leta) Unger; and brother, Christopher Csomos

Erika is survived by her brother, Joseph (Alice) Csomos, Frank (Janet) Csomos, Don (Roselle) Csomos, and Michael (Amanda Ralls–Cuelar) Csomos; 8 nieces and nephews; and 10 great-nieces and nephews (as we are all aware she welcomed many more as honorary nieces and nephews).

The Csomos family wishes to extend their gratitude to the South Shore First Responders and the Essentia Health team for their care and kindness.

Visitation to be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 13th at Mission Covenant Church, 5161 County Rd P, Poplar, WI, with service at 11:00 AM and reception to follow. A potluck will be hosted at the Hungry Trout 4167 S County Rd H, Brule, WI, at 5:30pm that night, where Erika made many friends. Burial at Forest Hill Cemetery, International Falls, MN, at a later date.

Whether you were family or honorary family, Erika always took the time to offer a listening ear and a laugh. Every day was an adventure when you were with Erika. She will be missed by her family and friends!
