Elver "Hildy" Otto Hildebrandt, 96, of Hermantown, MN passed away on January 6, 2022 in his home.

Hildy was born in Gaylord MN to Wilhelm and Lydia Hildebrandt on December 9, 1925. He attended school in Gaylord. He worked the family farm with his dad and joined the Army Air Corps in 1947. He retired from the service in the 1970's. He enjoyed woodworking, lawn care and snow shoveling.

Hildy is survived by his wife of 70 years, Elizabeth; 2 children; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Private Funeral service to be held at Sunrise Funeral Home, 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery.
